The first way is to keep the stage, make good use of fireworks, block the stairs behind the stage, burn one and throw another. You two just need to keep the zombies and special feelings coming from the front.

The second is the high platform. There is an iron rod on the high platform. Standing up can stop the zombies from coming up below, and they can't spit out acid.
