The most representative areas of Yunlong Bai people's flute playing are Tangdeng, Wu Xia, Jiuzhou Village in Jiuzhou Town and Dada Village in Changxin Town. At present, there are 9 Bai professional and amateur bragging troupes in the county: Tangdeng Boasting Troupe, Shangdianwei Boasting Troupe, Sanqi Boasting Troupe, Dangga Boasting Troupe, Fengcheng Boasting Troupe, Dada Boasting Troupe and Zhuang Troupe.
Every troupe has a stage. These troupes have festivals, competitions to greet the gods, weddings, funerals and weddings, and every household has to perform traditional operas, especially the Spring Festival, which lasts for three days and three nights. On July 24, 2000, in the protection and development project of northwest Yunnan published by Yunnan Daily, Dada Village in Changxin Township was listed as a protected village for blowing and blowing cavities, and Jiuzhou Town was listed as a protected area for blowing and blowing cavities of Bai people.
Chui Chui Opera is an ancient national opera, with a detailed division of labor, "health, Dan, cleanliness and ugliness", paying attention to hands, eyes, body, method and steps, having a complete performance program and character spectrum, and its footwork is adapted to the suona melody, which is particularly strong in dance. Blowing and blowing cavity is mainly singing and blowing, and suona is the main instrumental door, so it is also called "Suona Opera". Sing four sentences in a paragraph, and the lyrics format is "37 15" mountain flower poem.
The first sentence is the starting board, the second and third sentences are the middle board, and the fourth sentence is the falling board. Both the starting board and the falling board are played with suona, and percussion music is matched with it. Percussion beats are very rigorous. There are performances such as quoting, chanting, objecting, confessing and doing work, and there is a saying of "one blowing, two singing and three playing". There are nine plates and thirteen cavities in the aria, namely, flat cavity, clean cavity, raw cavity, one-word cavity, local cavity, crying cavity, high cavity, rocking cavity, walking board, overlapping board, counting board and so on.
The music resources in the blowing room are rich, mainly suona, erhu, sanxian and flute. And percussion music including cymbals, cymbals, ideas, drums, etc. The performance was cadence and wonderful.
