Why do you have to look at photos? The reason is simple, about the image of these candidates.

That HR colleague told me that an insurance salesman with a good image can have some advantages when communicating with customers, and it is easier to reach an order.

Although there is no big data support, salesmen with better performance in their company usually have a better image.

Second, the image should match the ability.

Although image is very important, candidates who have only image but no ability may be what people call "vases".

I once interviewed a group of fresh graduates in the same position, and the interview method was leaderless group discussion.

At that time, a girl stood out among the candidates, but in the process of group discussion, her performance was disappointing.

On the one hand, the logic is poor, and there is no very clear thinking when considering the problem; On the other hand, he is very introverted and not very expressive.

At that time, our positioning was mainly customer-oriented and needed communication. Although the girl's image is very good, in the end, the company's ability to employ people was given priority, and several interviewers didn't accept her in the end.

There are many such examples. High face value is a natural application advantage, but this advantage will never prevail.

Third, good-looking should also have connotation support.

Tell me a case that I interviewed. At that time, the company needed to recruit a purchasing assistant position. There is a boy, height 180 or above, good image and temperament, and the interview process is still normal.

But a small move after the interview made me give up the idea of hiring him.

What is the reason? When the young man left the company and waited for the elevator, he inadvertently spat on the ground from his mouth.

He may have acted subconsciously and didn't notice that someone was still watching him.

A few days later, waiting for the feedback results, he called to ask about the interview results. My department assistant who was interviewing at that time asked me why I didn't hire him. It should have felt good at that time.

After listening to my explanation, the little assistant also expressed understanding.

Although such a candidate has a good image and temperament and a good interview, it is a small detail that shows us his ideological and moral problems. There is nothing wrong with not giving a job.
