Yu Shuhua

Jade tree flower, also known as phoenix tail palm, is native to southern Africa. I like a warm, dry and sunny environment. Not cold-resistant, afraid of strong light, slightly resistant to shade. The soil is fertile sandy loam with good drainage. The temperature is not lower than 7℃ in winter.

Common cutting propagation. In the growing season, the full top branches with a length of 8- 10 cm are cut off, slightly dried and inserted into the sand bed, and take root about 3 weeks after insertion. You can also use single leaf cutting and dry it after cutting. Then insert it into the sand bed, take root about 4 weeks after insertion, and put it into the pot when the root is 2-3 cm long.

Change pots and add rich soil every spring. Swallow's paw grows fast. In order to keep the plant plump, it is not advisable to have too much fertilizer and water. Yushu flower has a tall and beautiful crown, green stems and leaves, and white flowers at the top, which is very elegant and chic. Decorative coffee tables and desks are more attractive if they are made into small bonsai with basin frames and gravel.

Yushu pruning can be done according to everyone's hobbies. If the crown is round and plump, the long branches will be cut off when pruning, which will make the crowded branches overlap too much, so that the external crown of the plant is complete and the internal branches are properly spaced. If the tree is long, the old trunk is thick and the crown is not round, it can be trimmed or stump bonsai, and some branches and leaves can be cut off according to the needs of modeling. Yushu is easy to raise, mainly to get more sunshine. Don't water it too much.

Yushu has strong adaptability, extreme drought resistance and lax requirements for soil. It is only necessary to keep the basin soil slightly moist and ventilated during the growth period, and it is not advisable to water it too much. If you water it after it is dry, the accumulated water in the basin will cause rotten roots. In summer, if the pot soil is too dry, it will also cause defoliation. Generally, little fertilizer is needed in the cultivation process, and only 1-2 times of dilute liquid fertilizer is needed throughout the year.
