The famous "Shah" diamond weighs only 88.7 carats, but it is the only big diamond with lettering in the world. This diamond was first discovered in India and then passed on to the king of Persia. The three polished surfaces of the drill bit are engraved with Persian inscriptions. 1829, the Russian ambassador to Persia was assassinated. In order to appease the tsar's anger, Persian prince Hoslev Mill had to give the treasure "Shah" to the Russian tsar. Since then, "Shah" has been preserved in Russia.

Jehan Shah, the consul of the Great Mughal Empire mentioned in the inscription "Shah", was in office from 1627 to 1666. Later, he was caught by his son Jeb and spent the rest of his life in prison. Jehan Shah is crazy about precious stones. He has a special gem workshop, and even goes there to select and ponder gems. His son Jeb not only usurped the throne, but also seized his father's treasure.

In the diamond library, there is also a very beautiful diamond-"Sangxi", which weighs 55 carats. Legend has it that this diamond was embedded in the helmet of Indian warrior Carl and lost in a battle.

1589, "Sang Xi" appeared in the treasure house of King Anton of Portugal, and was later sold to the French treasure house master Sang Xi for 65,438+million old francs. Since then, this "Sangxi" diamond has been a family heirloom of the Sangxi family for a long time. Later, it was presented to King Genglihe II of France and included in the list of treasures in France. On 1792, this diamond was looted.

1830, "Sangxi" was bought by Demidoff, the descendant of a Ukrainian factory owner, for 500,000 francs. The French government initiated a lawsuit on this matter, and five years later, the diamond was awarded to Demidoff.
