Jiangnan Classical Gardens Adjacent to Shanghai Old Town God Temple
The classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River adjacent to the Old Town God Temple in Shanghai is Yu Garden.

Yu Garden is located in the northeast of the old city of Shanghai, bordering Fu You Road in the north, Anren Street in the east and the Old Town God Temple in Shanghai in the southwest. It's a classical garden in Jiangnan. Built between Jiajing and Wanli in Ming Dynasty, it covers an area of more than 30 mu.

There are three famous stone jade dragons in the south of the Yangtze River, and there is 1853 Daohui uprising command post Dianchuntang. There are tourist attractions such as Chenghuang Temple and Shops Street near the park. Yu Garden was opened to the public on 196 1, and was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in 1982.

Scenic spots in the park:

There are more than 40 ancient buildings such as Sui Tang, Iron Lion, Kuailou, Deyue Building, Yulinglong, Yuji Water Gallery, Tingtao Pavilion, Hanbi Building, Inner Garden Jingguan Hall, ancient stage, rockery and pond. Sansui Hall, located at the main entrance of Yuyuan Garden, was built in the 25th year of Qing Qianlong. Originally Leshou Hall, it was requisitioned as the office of Shanghai county government in the early Qing Dynasty, and was converted into Sansui Hall when Xiyuan was rebuilt.

Yangshantang and Yujuanlou are located behind Sansui Hall, facing the big rockery opposite the pool. It was built in the fifth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty. The bottom floor is called Yangshantang, and the upper floor is called Yujuanlou. Yangshan Temple is 5 meters long, followed by cloisters, curved sills and ponds, where you can take a nap. Looking at the big rockery, you can see the reflection in the pool.
