1. Open the Word document and click "Insert" on the menu bar above.

2. Click the drop-down arrow of the Shape command button under the Insert menu.

3. Select the required shape from the shape list shown below, and a drawing canvas will be automatically created in the document.

4. Then click the expansion icon in the lower right corner of the size command area under the open format menu to pop up the layout dialog box.

5. Uncheck Lock Aspect Ratio in the layout dialog box, then set the values of height and width respectively, and then click OK to finish the operation.
