1, the pipe cutter cuts off. The pipe cutter is a circular blade with a cutting edge. Under the pressure, the feeder rotates along the pipe wall to cut off the pipe. When cutting with a pipe cutter, the hob must be perpendicular to the pipe, otherwise the blade will be easily damaged. The pipe cutter is suitable for welded steel pipes with a diameter of15100 mm. This method has the advantages of fast pipe cutting and straight incision, but the necking part must be leveled with a reamer.
2, cut off. Chisels are mainly used for cast iron pipes, concrete pipes, reinforced concrete pipes and clay pipes. The tools used are hammer and chisel. In order to prevent the chisel from deviating, a chisel line perpendicular to the axis can be drawn on the pipe in advance. The method is to circle the pipe with neat cardboard or linoleum paper, and draw a circle on the pipe along the edge of the template with a fine stone pen.
During operation, put a wooden board on the cutting line of the pipe, chisel 13 times along the cutting line until there is an obvious gap, and then beat the pipe continuously along the gap with a hammer until the pipe breaks. When the cutting efficiency is low, the incision is not uniform enough, and the thickness of the pipe wall is uneven, it is easy to damage the pipe (the pipe body is cut or cracked). It is usually used in the case of lack of machinery or large pipe diameter.
3. gas cutting. Gas cutting is to use the high temperature (about 1 100 150℃) generated by the combustion of the mixed gas of oxygen and acetylene to melt the cut metal and generate iron oxide slag, which is fragile and easy to be blown away by high-pressure oxygen, so that pipes or profiles can be cut.
