Comme des Garcons is the positioning and naming of Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo's clothing brand.
Rei Kawakubo (English name: Reikawa Kubo), a Japanese female designer who developed in France, directly expressed her understanding of fashion and design concepts with "Comme des Garcons". (French "Comme" means "how" and "like", and "Comme des Garcons" means being a boy and "like boys") Rei Kawakubo is called "an alternative designer" because of his original avant-garde image, which combines the concepts of the East and the West.
