College students' folk band is a hundred flowers blossom. 200110/2 came into being to celebrate the 50th birthday of our school, and it took root and sprouted on this fertile cultural soil. Results Self-run youth league schools aim at "promoting national culture and improving personal quality" and aim at cultivating a group of talents with high musical quality and ideological quality. So far, a group of league members have successfully completed their tasks and left the league with honor. The orchestra has more than 0/00 members/kloc, with complete instruments and personnel. Since its establishment, under the care of the Youth League Committee, under the careful guidance of the teachers of Wuhan Conservatory of Music, and with the joint efforts of all members of our group, it has become a small and medium-sized national instrumental performance group that has begun to take shape.

The folk band is a big family, and its members come from all departments of the school. Since its establishment, the Group has established a relatively complete management system. The orchestra implements the head responsibility system in the organizational structure, and has two deputy heads for macro-control. The orchestra consists of organization department, propaganda department, secretariat, logistics department, business department and music department, which are responsible for all the work of the whole group. In April 2007, the general election of our regiment was successfully completed, resulting in a new group of cadres.

Because our group is basically non-music majors, but there are also a few students who have their own musical instrument foundation and music students from the Art and Media College. The participation of these students has injected fresh blood into our group and laid the foundation for our group to develop in a more professional direction, but at the same time, there have been business contradictions-the business level is obviously poor. Our group is trying to solve this contradiction, thus significantly improving the performance level of the whole orchestra. Every year, at the beginning of 10, our group enrolls students for the whole school, and there are more scientific and reasonable enrollment procedures.

It has been six years since its establishment. All previous league members get up early and get greedy for the dark, practice basic skills hard and pay close attention to business. Up to now, there have been more than a dozen large choirs such as Dance of Yao, Good News in Beijing, Border Village, Dragon and Tiger Leap, and more than 0/5 vocal choirs such as The Red Chamber, Deep in the Bamboo Forest and Qin Wang Dian Bing. Solos are also quite rich, and various musical instruments show their magical powers. Our group not only studied folk music, but also dabbled in foreign music, especially the difficult large-scale ensemble Hungarian Dance No.5. In the form of performance, our troupe boldly innovated and integrated western orchestral instruments with Chinese national bands. The music "Do you know I'm waiting for you" of this spring concert is our first attempt. The combination of Chinese and western cultures is also a delicious folk music feast.

Since its establishment, our group has participated in more than 20 performances inside and outside the school, including 5 special concerts. All the performances have successfully completed the task and won unanimous praise from teachers, students and guests inside and outside the school. The orchestra has been rated as a "model society" for four consecutive times, and it has great influence in many literary and art societies.

The conductor of the orchestra-Teacher Nie Zhiyong of Hubei Song and Dance Theater-proposed the future development direction for us according to the actual situation of our troupe, that is, "non-professional professional national orchestra". This sentence is full of wisdom, and at the same time, the road is full of thorns. However, we firmly believe that with the joint efforts of students who love national music in their bones, our orchestra will certainly develop healthily in this direction and better accomplish our great mission of "promoting national culture and improving personal quality" in unremitting exploration.
