For the newborn duckling, you can give it medium-cooked rice or cooked wheat, feed it about five times a day, and let it peck freely on the ground. Half a month after birth, ducklings can be fed chopped fish, shrimp, earthworms and vegetables on the basis of the original feed, about three times a day.
If you find it troublesome to find ingredients, you can directly buy full-price compound feed to feed the ducks. Ducks grow into ducks, and fish, grass, whole grains and rice can be fed.
Key points of duckling breeding
1, temperature
Newborn ducklings require high temperature, and the temperature of incubator should be kept at about 30℃. According to the growth of ducks, the temperature is lowered by 2℃ every 1 week. Generally, after 1 month, ducks can adapt to normal temperature environment.
2. Lighting equipment
Freshly hatched ducklings usually provide 20 hours of light every day. When the ducklings are 2 weeks old, they should provide 15 hours of light every day. There is no need to provide artificial light when the weather is fine.
3. Ventilation equipment
Do a good job of ventilation in the duck house to prevent food residues from producing excessive harmful gases after fermentation due to high carbon dioxide concentration, and ensure the normal and healthy growth of ducks.
