In the history of China, there have been five great processes of national costume integration. Except for the dress after the last dress integration in the Qing Dynasty, contrary to the popularity of foreign clothes in the Central Plains, the implementation of Manchu clothes has been greatly resisted. The fundamental reason is that their clothing connotation is divorced from the traditional culture of the Han nationality. It is a huge impact on the traditional costumes of the Han nationality, not a simple ban on styles, and the object of destruction is the cultural system of Han costumes. Even though the women's clothing in Qing Dynasty has not changed much compared with the previous Hanfu, the characteristics such as round neck, big breasts, five pairs of buttons and wide edges formed under the influence of flag clothing are all the results of integration into Manchu clothing. It's just a traditional dress with a coat and a skirt, which can't be counted as the traditional dress of the Han nationality.
Due to its wide application, development and evolution, continuous integration and innovation, the traditional costumes of the Han nationality are not only the costumes of a certain dynasty, but also have a long historical development process. Therefore, judging from the historical process, the national costume of the Han nationality was the dominant idea in the main residential areas of the Han nationality from the 20th century BC to the mid-7th century (late Ming and early Qing), which was formed through natural evolution and had unique national style and personality, which was obviously different from the traditional costume and decoration system of other nationalities.
