Where did the sunshine doll originate?
Sunny doll is a kind of puppet hanging on the eaves to pray for sunny days, which is mainly popular in China and Japan. Sunshine dolls were introduced into Japan from China. China's sunny dolls are often made into doll images in the form of paper-cutting or cloth heads, with a broom in one hand and a lotus-shaped head in the other. In Japan, sunshine dolls mostly wrap table tennis or cotton balls with square handkerchiefs and draw five senses on the balls.
