Tantou Town belongs to Longhui County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. It is located in the southeast of Longhui County, at the junction of Longhui County, Shaoyang County and Xinshao County, 22 kilometers away from the county seat, and 9 kilometers from the Zhou Wang exit of Shangrui Expressway to the town government. It borders Xiaotang Town in Xinshao County in the east, Shaoyang County in the southeast, Zhou Wang Town and Yushanpu Town in the south, Taohong Town, Hexiangqiao Town and Shimen Township in the west, Yankou Town in the north and Jukoupu Town in Xinshao County in the west.
