According to the theory of pure Taoism, the first music of Zen is "physical and mental music, or full of music, jumping for the present", which can be divided into five types: small Xi, instant music, follow-up music, warm music and full music. Xiao Xi, happiness makes people stand up. At the moment of joy, joy suddenly came and flashed like lightning. After joy, joy is like waves on the coast, which come and go again and again. Enthusiastic joy, joy is so great that people can't help dancing and even jumping into the air. Full of joy, joy fills the whole body, like an inflated bubble, like a cave full of running water. In the same way, when the five kinds of happiness mature, they are all the consciousness of achievement, and they will achieve both physical and mental happiness after maturity. The so-called joy means that "goodness can engulf or excavate inner distress" and "take joy as the phase". The difference between joy and happiness is that joy is a kind of enjoyment or inner emotion, while happiness is an action, which is exciting because it has never been enjoyed. Just like a person who is thirsty when trekking in the desert, he is excited when he hears and sees a forest spring in front of him, and happy when he walks into the forest and drinks the spring to his heart's content. The joy of the second Zen is better than that of the first Yi Chan, the third Zen and the second Zen, and it is the ultimate joy in the world. In Za Agama, the Buddha said that the joy of the third Zen was "the first place", Za Agama volume 17, Zheng Dacang volume 2, 123c. .
The Buddha said in "Za Agama" that all the happiness in the world born from the satisfaction of five desires can only be satisfied by certain conditions. For example, when people are hungry, they get food, eat enough and drink happily, hence the name "having food and having fun"; When the meditator enters the second Zen, he has no feelings and no views, and he will be happy. This kind of joy does not depend on any conditions, but is natural from the heart, hence the name "joy without food"; When I entered the fourth Zen, I lived in the mindfulness of giving happiness and stayed away from the interference of happiness. This kind of quiet happiness is called "no food and no joy", that is to say, even "happiness" does not need to rely on the same book. 123b. . Volume 7 of the Paramita Sutra says that all beings are often upset by desire and heat. When they entered the first meditation by practicing meditation, it was like jumping into a cool spring, and they were shocked to experience the coolness and pleasure they had never experienced before, far exceeding the pleasure of the five desires. "Deep down, they celebrate happiness with infinite enthusiasm, so they are named happy branches." Paramita Buddhism, Volume VII, Buddhism, 56544. . After tasting Zen music, his heart is calm, quiet and happy, which is called music. Happiness is rough, and happiness is beautiful. When you are happy, your heart is warm (excited), and when you are happy, your heart is quiet. The joy of the second Zen is more than that of the second Yi Chan. When he entered the second Zen, "his heart suddenly became clear and happy, just like when a person came out of a dark room, his heart suddenly became clear and happy", while "A walker enjoys pleasure in music, enjoys it calmly, and enjoys beauty quickly" is the same as this book, 513b ~ c. The joy of the first Zen is born of five desires beyond the realm of desire, which is called "the joy of leaving life"; The joy of second meditation comes from meditation, which is called "the joy of meditation". The joy of early Zen is based on Zen touch and feeling, and it is inevitable that there will be anxiety and injustice in the heart when physical contact occurs. The joy of the second meditation does not come from the outside, but from the heart, only consciously and meticulously. The third Zen was disturbed by the joy of the second Zen, and there was only a unique joy, which was born at the same time as centering:

When you are full of joy, all your pores will feel happy. Although there is no external knowledge of the five emotions, the music method is deeply rooted from the inside. Of the five people, all are happy.

The joy Buddhism of the Three Zen Buddhism is called "the best in the world, above joy", the same book, 5 14c. . However, having fun is a kind of interference after all. More than four Zen, beyond the disturbance of joy, not bitter and unhappy, like a mirror, in fact, the mind is in a state of deep peace and relaxation, which is a kind of happiness beyond joy. Because people who enter Zhengding can enjoy the rough pleasure of five desires far beyond the stimulation of material conditions in the world, they can naturally overcome the troubles of greed and anger in the world without pursuing the five desires in the world and being confused by the interests of sound, color and goods. However, if you enjoy Zen, you may covet the pleasure of meditation. The so-called "tasting Zen" and "getting drunk with samadhi" belong to the color world and have no troubles in the color world. This greed and intoxication of Zen Buddhism may make people just sit still and be complacent, indifferent to family affairs, what's going on in the world, sentient beings and society, lose their sense of responsibility, and are unwilling to benefit and help all sentient beings and pursue wisdom that truly transcends life and death, thus becoming the cause of life and death. The Buddha taught his disciples that although meditation is practiced, its purpose is to further gain the wisdom of the world, and we should not "admire Zen". On the basis of meditation, correct wisdom should be proved by practicing correct vision. Mahayana emphasizes that meditation should be guided by the prajna wisdom of "no income" Although it is positive, it is necessary to benefit all beings, serve the society, and enjoy more extraordinary nirvana in the six-time practice of Bodhisattva.
The pleasure of being centered is only the subjective experience of the reviser, but it also has practical value. What kind of happiness is not personal experience after all? More importantly, the experience of meditation joy is verifiable and repeatable, and anyone who practices Buddhism can verify it physically and mentally and benefit from it. From the point of view of Zen Buddhism, the superficial and fragmentary samadhi in the early Zen stage is mostly under the early Zen, which can't reach the clear goal of four Zen and eight Zen, and the joy is quite shallow and tiny, but there is no lack of fitness healing and qigong pleasure. If it is deeply positive, its joy will be more beneficial to the body and mind. This is only in terms of secular meditation. As for secular meditation, its "happiness" and benefits are beyond the reach of secular meditation.
