Qiao Family Courtyard is located in Qiaojiabao Village, Qixian County, Shanxi Province. It is the residence of Qiao Zhiyong, a famous financial capitalist in Qing Dynasty. The Qiao Family Courtyard, also known as nave, was built in 1756. It is divided into 6 courtyards, 20 small courtyards and 3 13 rooms, with a building area of 4 175 square meters, facing the street on three sides and surrounded by closed blue brick walls, with a height of 10 meter. There are more than 5,000 precious cultural relics in the compound, which reflects the people's feelings in Jinzhong, Shanxi. Among them, there are historical materials of the Qiao family, treasures of the Qiao family, film and television topics and other materials. The gate of the jstars courtyard sits west to east, and there is a high top floor on it. In the middle of the top floor hangs a plaque given by the governor of Shanxi on the orders of Empress Dowager Cixi. A pair of couplets is inlaid on the black painted door: "Children and grandchildren are wise, and the family will be big; Brothers are fat at home. " Between the lines reveals the hope and pursuit of the owner of the jstars.
Regarding the layout and furnishings of the compound, the most fascinating thing is the shape overlooking the word "Xi". Each yard has an independent entrance, but there are connected passages on the roof that can pass through. There are many small courtyards in each courtyard, and neat red lanterns are hung on the eaves, just like the scene in Zhang Yimou's Focus Plane. Whenever the Chinese New Year is a holiday, the red lantern lights up. What a festive picture it is.
There is a rhinoceros moon mirror in Qiaojia No.3 Hospital, which is a national first-class cultural relic and a treasure of Qiaojia Town House. The homonym of "rhinoceros" is "like an ox", which is an auspicious and happy mascot falling from the sky. At that time, the owner of the Qiao family courtyard, a giant of Shanxi merchants, regarded "rhinoceros looking at the moon" as a treasure to make money. From then on, "the bright moon shines high on Xiangyun and lives and works in peace." Today, the treasure is still treasured in the mansion. Kowloon Lantern is also one of the best collections in the Qiao Family Courtyard Folk Museum. The reason for this treasure lamp is this: Empress Dowager Cixi fled to Ann because of Eight-Nation Alliance's invasion of China, and the Qiao family donated 302,000 yuan to Empress Dowager Cixi to solve her urgent needs. Empress Dowager Cixi sent two Kowloon lanterns to thank her for her loyalty. There are many plaques hanging on the gate of Joe's compound, of which four are the most valuable. There are three plaques worthy of Joe's pride, including the "Puyi" plaque inscribed by Li Hongzhang in the fourth year of Guangxu.
