There are three reasons for less fruit setting: 1, and fewer pollination trees. The pollinated varieties of Hongxiangsu pear are Yali pear, Huang Guan, August crisp, Jade and so on. When the garden was first built, the pollination tree was Huangguan pear. Most fruit farmers don't know Huang Guan. They think he has too much fruit, and thinning it is too much trouble. A few years ago, some Huangguan pears were grafted on Xinli No.7 and other varieties. Because the pollen of Xinli No.7 is not closely related to Hongxiangsu pear, it cannot be used as the pollination tree of Hongxiangsu pear. So there are fewer pollination trees in the whole garden, and even if the flowers are big, they can't pollinate. There are few bees in the garden during flowering. Due to climatic reasons, the flowering period is about half a month ahead of schedule this year. There are few bees in the garden, and there is no pollination medium, so it is impossible to pollinate. 3. There is strong wind in flowering period. Although the flowering temperature is not low this year, there are two nights of strong winds in the full flowering period, and the pollen quantity is reduced, so pollination cannot be carried out. Three technical points to improve the flowering and fruit setting rate in the coming year: 1, bee pollination in orchard. Put 1 box of bees in each acre of pear orchard, and put them in the middle of the pear orchard 2-3 days before flowering. In orchards pollinated by bees, it is forbidden to spray pesticides before flowering to avoid killing bees. 2. Artificial pollination. Pollen can be collected when the buds of Huang Guan pear are in bud (preferably balloon-shaped) or when the petals have just opened. Pollen can be pollinated within 3-5 days after flowering, preferably within 3 days. When the temperature reaches 15℃ ~ 20℃, the pollination effect is the best, and the point feeding method or towel rod rolling method can be used. 3. Spray boron at flowering stage. Spraying 0.3% borax solution containing 0.3% and 0.3%-0.5% urea at 25% and 75% flowering stages respectively. Flowering needs a lot of phosphorus and potassium elements, and spraying 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution or single spraying can also improve the fruit setting rate.
