Pale yellow will do. I just became a bridesmaid on May 1. My dress is champagne and my shawl is white gauze. In fact, light yellow is almost the same as champagne, so it's definitely no problem.

As for the yellow eye shadow, it will appear puffy, so don't use it. This dress can use orange or light pink eye shadow, which is very nice.
