Kapok grows in the south and is the city flower of Guangzhou, Kaohsiung and Panzhihua. To grow up healthily, kapok needs a complicated maintenance process. Kapok is a tropical tree species. It likes high temperature and high humidity climate and has low cold tolerance. When it encounters a long-term low temperature of 5 ~ 8℃, its branches will suffer from freezing injury and avoid frost. The suitable temperature in winter should not be lower than 10℃. Kapok likes sunshine and can't be kept in a cool place for a long time. It can be exposed to the hot sun, so it is suitable for growing in sunny places.
