Luffa is an annual cucurbitaceae plant, native to southern Africa. Its neck is slightly raised like a swan's head, with a height of 35-45cm, a nearly spherical bottom and a diameter of15-20cm. Its surface is smooth with light green stripes. After the fruit is fully dried, it can be decorated or carved for a long time.
Generally planted in spring and autumn. Luffa is a kind of side-vine-knotted melon, which is large and heavy and needs to be cultivated in a solid frame or wall. In order to improve the aesthetic feeling of melon shape and color, reduce rot and improve maturity, facility cultivation is advocated.
