What is cranial cavity stenosis?
Cranial cavity stenosis, or cranial cavity stenosis, is a skull deformity caused by premature closure of cranial suture.

(1) pointed skull deformity: the coronal and sagittal seams closed early, the growth of the anterior and posterior diameter and transverse diameter of the skull was limited, and the height diameter increased, resulting in pointed skull deformity.

(2) Short skull deformity: premature closure of coronal suture or human suture. The anterior and posterior diameter of skull is shortened, which leads to skull shortening deformity.

(3) navicular cranial deformity: sagittal suture or premature closure of the temporoparietal or sphenooccipital suture, limited growth of the transverse diameter of the skull, excessive growth of the anterior and posterior diameter, and long and narrow skull, showing navicular cranial deformity.

(4) Cranial deformity: one cranial suture is prematurely closed, the contralateral skull grows excessively, and the skulls on both sides are asymmetrical and biased towards the affected side.

(5) Microcranium malformation: All cranial sutures are closed early, and the skull symmetry is reduced, which leads to microcephaly, often accompanied by cranial hypertension and mental retardation.
