Abnormal liver function generally requires the following tests:
1. Liver excretion function: sodium bromosulfophthalein (BsP) excretion test and indigo green (ICG) excretion test are commonly used.
2. Metabolic function of protein: determination of serum total protein, albumin, globulin, prealbumin, protein electrophoresis, prothrombin time and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP);
3. Lipid metabolism function: determination of serum total cholesterol, serum triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, apolipoprotein, apolipoprotein and lipoprotein;
Mineral metabolism function: determination of serum iron, transferrin, ferritin and serum copper.
5. Hormone metabolic function: determination of plasma estrogen (E2) and testosterone, urine 17- ketosteroid and urine 17- hydroxysteroid.
Metabolic function of bilirubin: quantitative test of serum bilirubin, determination of direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, qualitative test of urinary bilirubin and determination of urinary bilirubin;
Seven, bile acid metabolic function: enzyme biochemical method to determine serum total bile acid and radioimmunoassay to determine bound bile acid;
8. Interstitial metabolic function: hyaluronic acid, laminin, fibronectin, collagen IV and its fragments, N-terminal propeptide of collagen III, C-terminal propeptide of collagen I, C-terminal propeptide of collagen I, collagen cleavage products and hydroxyproline, etc.
