Why does Clivia's leaves grow crooked?
The leaves are crooked except the variety. Usually the leaves are crooked, because there is no consequence of turning over the pot. Because Clivia grows phototropically, that is to say, its leaves will grow on the sunny side, and the sunlight exposed to different leaves is very different, which leads to the messy leaves.
This is also the root cause of messy plant types. Generally, the basin is rotated about 180 degrees per week, which can not only make Clivia receive uniform illumination, but also maintain a perfect and tidy plant type.
How to prevent Clivia leaves from skewing?
Usually pay attention to the direction of Clivia.
The tips of the leaves point to the north and south respectively, and the flowerpot is rotated regularly.
We can use shading method to prepare tin foil, cover the leaves on the crooked side and cover half of the leaves, as shown in the figure below, so that we can quickly adjust the leaves of plants and make them grow to the side without shading, thus achieving the effect of correction.
