What are the methods of tooth restoration?
At present, dental restoration is mainly divided into three types, namely implant restoration, fixed "bridging" restoration and movable tooth restoration.

Dental implant restoration: Dental implant is not a real natural tooth, but a kind of restoration method by implanting pure titanium implant into alveolar bone in the edentulous area and then installing abutment and crown. Because pure titanium implant can grow closely with alveolar bone, it is equivalent to natural root, can support the crown stably, is strong, beautiful and durable, and is known as the third pair of human teeth, and is recognized as the first choice for dental restoration.

Fixed "bridge" restoration: the so-called fixed bridge "bridge" restoration means that natural teeth or roots at both ends of missing teeth are used as abutment teeth at both ends of the "bridge pier", and partial full crowns or full crowns are made on them as retainers of dentures, which is suitable for the situation of few missing teeth and good residual teeth. However, compared with implant restoration and movable tooth restoration, fixed bridge restoration needs to grind off the tooth tissue of natural teeth.

Restoration of removable teeth: removable dentures can be divided into partial dentures and complete dentures: some removable dentures use the teeth left in the patient's mouth as abutment teeth to make dentures that the patient can take off by himself; Complete denture is a routine treatment for complete occlusion. The manufacturing method is simple, the cost is low, and it is convenient for cleaning, maintenance and replenishment. However, its stability, comfort and chewing efficiency are far less than that of fixed denture.
