I graduated from Foshan No.1 Middle School. Two years after graduation, I was still filled with emotion when I answered the college entrance examination questions. I still miss hhhhh because of the oppressive feeling of crossing the wooden bridge with thousands of troops and the inspirational spirit that everyone has reached the state that I would have without myself.
1. Similarities and differences in total scores of papers
This is mainly because the total score of college entrance examination varies from place to place. For example, the full score of candidates in Jiangsu is 450, and that in Hainan Province is weighted. According to the ranking, a score of 900 points is given as the final score, so the difference of full marks also causes the difference of admission scores of colleges and universities around the country, so the final marking is handed over to the provinces for separate marking. Otherwise, it is unfair to people in different provinces to enroll through the national unified admission score line. Therefore, in fact, it is unfair to draw a line across the country. On the contrary, it is relatively fair for provinces with the same total score to draw separate scores.
2. The grading standards are different.
Because the current college entrance examination system focuses on marking papers in different provinces, this leads to different punishment standards for marking teachers in different provinces. Because of different educational levels in different places and different opinions of marking groups after discussion, the handwriting and content of an answer are the same, and the scores that provinces may get are different.
Secondly, before each centralized marking of the college entrance examination, the teachers who have been reorganized in batches will try to score the test papers by randomly sampling, and then determine the evaluation criteria. However, the educational syllabus and teaching progress of each province are different, which will lead to different scoring standards. Sometimes there will even be a temporary change in the judging rules because a question is too difficult for candidates in a province.
As for the issue of fairness, because the annual admission quota of colleges and universities is finally allocated to the provinces in consideration of the C problem in different provinces, all provinces only need to have their own unified marking standards to ensure fairness.
3. Ranking and popularity issues
Because the total number of candidates in each province is different, the final ranking is different. In addition, applying for the exam is more like the rising tide of the market economy. If a person's province knows this school very well and is looking forward to it, then its score line will inevitably increase. On the contrary, if a school is not so famous, then the number of applicants is bound to be relatively small, and your score will also change.
For example, Hohai University, which I attended, is not well-known in South China, which leads to the admission scores and rankings are far worse than those in other provinces. Hohai University is located in the south of the Yangtze River. Because of its high popularity, many people want to be closer to such a prestigious school, which leads to different scores.
