What kinds of methods are there for tooth beauty?

1, the method of tooth beauty

Method 1: porcelain teeth

The porcelain-fused-to-metal crown in dental plastic surgery is an inner crown made of metal, and then the porcelain is fused to the surface of the inner crown at high temperature to form a crown with the same color as natural teeth, good color and realistic appearance. Porcelain crown technology was successfully developed by the United States in 1950. Its technology is relatively mature, and the composite material formed by the combination of metal and ceramics is strong and beautiful. It is especially suitable for anterior teeth restoration and is favored by young people who love beauty. Wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, no discoloration, no deformation, is an ideal prosthesis.

Oral plastic surgery in addition to the combination of low-melting porcelain and gold alloy crown, precious metal porcelain crown, in addition to non-precious metal porcelain crown. From the point of view of human tissue, occlusal function and aesthetic effect, precious metal porcelain crown is superior to non-precious metal porcelain crown, and beauty lovers can choose according to their own economic ability.

Method 2: All-ceramic teeth

Why is the all-ceramic crown of oral plastic surgery so attractive in dentistry? Because many people, especially women, may be allergic to metals in nonmetallic porcelain crowns. This allergic reaction can appear several years after wearing the crown, which is manifested as gingival miscellaneous diseases along the edge of the bad crown, and finally develops into ugly purple gingival tissue.

For beauty lovers with high aesthetic requirements, dentists believe that all-ceramic crowns provide more predictable and desirable aesthetic effects. But so far, there is no all-ceramic crown with the same durability and life span as the metal porcelain crown.

2. Prevention of oral cancer

1, a new mouthwash for preventing oral cancer

A mouthwash for gene therapy is expected to prevent oral cancer by eliminating malignant tumors before they worsen. This method is to release the virus controlled by the genetic code and kill the cells containing oncogenes, thus attacking the mucosal spots that have not yet become cancerous.

In the past 20 years, scientists have known that all cancers are caused by genetic defects. These genes accumulate in a lifetime, usually including six or more defects, which leads to the wanton growth of cells all over the body.

Drinking black tea helps to prevent oral cancer.

Tea polyphenols contained in black tea can prevent the canceration of oral cell DNA and help prevent oral cancer.

Scientists selected 15 patients for a one-year observation. These patients all suffer from oral leukoplakia, which is a common precancerous lesion, and white plaques will appear on the tongue and oral mucosa of patients. Generally speaking, 50% of leukoplakia will turn into oral cancer. However, by drinking black tea three times a day, the patients' white spots are obviously alleviated, and some of them even disappear.

3. The compounds in soybean can prevent oral cancer.

It is reported that soybean products have many health functions, including preventing breast cancer, colon cancer and prostate cancer. Now, a new study shows that compounds found in soybeans can also prevent oral cancer. This compound, called Bowman-Burke inhibitor, is a soybean extract. The researchers focused on the mucosal leukoplakia in the early stage of oral cancer and found that the compounds in soybean effectively prevented the mucosal leukoplakia from developing into oral cancer.

Eating curcumin helps to prevent oral cancer.

Experts have found that eating more foods rich in curcumin, such as ginger, mustard and curry, can help prevent oral cancer. Seven patients with precancerous lesions of oral cancer were given curcumin, which is commonly used in home cooking. Three months later, the symptoms of two patients with oral cancer leukoplakia improved significantly. In addition, in animal experiments, the researchers injected PUMA gene into mice, and in less than 1 month, the oral cancer of mice disappeared by 2/3, which proved that PUMA gene had a good effect on inhibiting the growth of mice tumors. This research is still in the stage of animal experiments, and it will take some time for it to be really applied to clinic.
