How to bend glasses feet
Glasses frames are made of celluloid and other chemical raw materials, which are easy to soften and burn when heated. In optical shops, the way to bend the glasses feet is to bake the frames on kerosene lamps, and then bend them after being softened by heat. But in China, this method is not desirable. One is that many urban families don't have kerosene lamps, and the other is that this method requires certain skills. If it is not done well, the frame will catch fire. If you need to bend your glasses at home, you can use this method: boil the water in the kettle with a stove. When a large amount of steam comes out of the spout, you can put the glasses frame at the spout and heat it with steam. Before long, celluloid will become soft, and you can bend it by hand as needed. Moreover, no matter how long it is heated, the spectacle frame will not catch fire and burn, which is safer. 1. Wash your hands. When the lens soaked in salt water in the mirror box is gently pushed out of the box along the wall of the mirror box, take it out with your thumb and forefinger. The index finger is close to the fingertip to press the bottom of the lens, and the concave surface of the lens is upward. There can be a small amount of physiological saline in the lens, and there can be no water between the lens and the finger. 2. Put the fingertip of the middle finger of the left hand down on the edge of the face in the center of the upper eyelid to press the eyelashes, and then try to lift the upper face. Place the middle finger of the right hand on the edge of the face in the center of the lower eyelid, and press down the lower eyelid to open the eyes as much as possible. 3. Turn the eyeball in one direction of the nose (see the tip of the nose), put the lens on the surface of the outer upper sclera (white eyeball), relax the middle fingers of both hands at the same time, close your eyes gently, turn the eyeball slightly outward and upward, and the lens will slide to the corneal surface. Or look ahead and put the lens directly on the corneal surface. If the lens position is not correct, you can gently push it from outside the eyelid with your fingers to make the lens position on the cornea correct. 4. When holding the lens, open your eyes and look up. Open the upper and lower eyelids like when wearing glasses. Gently push the lens downward outside the upper eyelid with the index finger of the left hand, so that the lens slides to the lower white eyeball. Then gently pinch the lens with your right thumb and forefinger and take it out. Be careful not to pinch the lens hard to avoid damaging the cornea.
