What is artificial muscle and what is its driving principle?
Early artificial muscle refers to a synthetic material with no muscle function but only surface decoration function, which is used for plastic repair. Recently, a product made of silicone rubber and polyester with certain muscle stretching function has been developed, such as silicone rubber tube wrapped with polyester fabric. As an artificial tendon, polyester fabric tubes extend from both ends of silicone rubber tubes so as to adhere to natural tendons or bones as much as possible. In the wide central part of the artificial muscle, the polyester fabric is folded together to allow the central protruding part of the artificial muscle to move freely, and the fabric length can be adjusted.
