Zhangzhou No.1 Vocational Secondary School is the first batch of national key vocational schools, a national model school approved by the Ministry of Education, an advanced unit of national vocational education, a national training base for talents in short supply and a provincial civilized school.
Zhangzhou No.1 Vocational Secondary School was formerly known as Zhangzhou No.6 Middle School. 1980 Zhangzhou No.6 Middle School 1 Vocational class, majoring in carpentry and sewing, with 57 students (including 28 sewing girls). 1983 was restructured into Zhangzhou Vocational Middle School, and junior high school graduates were recruited, which was included in the enrollment scope of senior high school unified examination.
1985, the school has 1 1 class, with 636 students and 253 faculty members. Since then, the scale of the school has gradually expanded. In Zhangpu and Hua 'an counties, we set up the specialty of finance and forestry, and in the army 175 hospital, we set up the specialty of medical treatment. The teaching equipment has been gradually improved, with five laboratories of electronics, microcomputer, drawing, biochemistry and physics, and a teaching practice factory of electronic equipment and beverage has been established. Teachers are constantly enriched and improved. By 1985, there were 203 vocational high school graduates. 1987, the school was changed to a vocational secondary specialized school.
