Shirts are mostly made of cotton or chemical fiber fabrics. After being stretched and deformed, it is basically impossible to return to the original size.
1. The structural fiber molecules of cotton and knitted clothing undergo relative slippage under the action of external forces. When the water molecules or external stress are eliminated, the slipped fiber molecules cannot return to their original positions due to fiber fatigue. As a result, the fiber elasticity becomes poor and cannot be retracted.
2. If the expansion and deformation are not too serious, you can try soaking it in hot water, then lay it flat in a place without direct sunlight, dry it and then iron it with an iron, because the fabric will be deformed after being heated by hot water. The temperature difference will cause the fabric molecules to move to a certain extent and cause shrinkage. When drying, it needs to be laid on a mesh shelf. Do not hang it on a hanger and avoid direct sunlight. After drying, use an iron to fix the fiber molecules that have a certain degree of shrinkage.
3. If the shirt fabric is made of poor cotton or ordinary chemical fiber and is greatly deformed, it cannot be restored and you will have to buy it separately.
How to prevent deformation of shirts during daily washing:
1. Wash in a washing machine. Soak it in warm water, then iron it with an iron. When you put it in the washing machine, put more washing powder.
1. The way to prevent shrinkage after washing is to put the dried shirt on a towel and quilt, straighten and stretch it, leave it there, and hang it up to dry after a day or two, and it will not shrink. ;
2. The way to prevent stretch after washing is to put the dried shirt in a mesh bag. It is best to shape it before putting it, then fold it and put it in, let it dry naturally, and it will not stretch. Elongated and thinned.
2. Hand wash. Pour warm water into the basin, add a small amount of household ammonia water, and then soak the shirt. The soap ingredients left on the wool will dissolve. Gently stretch the reduced part with both hands at the same time, then rinse and dry. When it is semi-dry, first pull it apart with your hands to get the original shape; then iron it with an iron to restore it to its original size.
