Cedar can be propagated by cutting all year round, and it is suitable for cutting in the middle and late March in spring, May-June in summer and mid-August in autumn. Cutting can still be carried out in late autumn and early winter, but it can't take root in that year.

First, the cuttings should choose the strong branches in the middle of the crown of the seedling mother tree.
