What do you need to make incense by hand in ancient times?
First, sieving powder: I usually sieve to 150 mesh.

Second, the fragrant mud:

Proportion: Laoshan 3.4g, Nanmu sticky powder 0.55g.

Note: This time, the sticky powder accounts for 15% of the fragrant powder, and the sticky powder ratio should be controlled between 15%-20% as far as possible.

Methods: 1. Mix the fragrant powder and sticky powder thoroughly, add water and make dough, preferably without sticking to the dish wall.

2. Use a spoon to repeatedly stack the fragrant mud from all sides to the middle, and fully stir to strengthen the density of the fragrant mud.

Third, squeeze the line incense:

Methods: 1. Put the fragrant mud into the syringe, fill the syringe as full as possible, and strengthen the linear fragrance density;

2. Squeeze the fragrant mud on the chopping board with both hands to form a line of incense, squeeze it upward from the near end, and cut it into the required length while squeezing.

Note: 1, when filling the syringe with fragrant mud, try to fill it up and plug it tightly;

2. When squeezing incense, the height of the needle cylinder from the chopping board should be about 10CM, and it should not be too short, otherwise it will be easily broken. As the incense is squeezed out and the hand moves upward, the incense will be laid flat on the chopping board.

3. When the tangent line is fragrant, it can be slightly longer than the required length, which is convenient for shaping.

Fourthly, preliminary forming:

Methods: 1. Observe the fragrance, find out the fragrance with bubbles, and do it again, otherwise it will break easily when it is dry.

2. Cut the incense into the required length with a ruler and a knife.

Note: 1, if the thread ends are fragrant, some sticky rulers can be slightly dried before removing the excess parts;

Don't just cut one end, cut the one with irregular shape and bubbles.

3. Cut off the part, repeat steps 3 and 4, and then squeeze into thread incense. Finally, the remaining fragrant mud is put aside for use.

Fifth, secondary plastic surgery:

Method: After an hour or two, straighten the incense with two rulers, one long and one short.

Note: 1. Only when incense sticks to the ruler and chopping board can this step be carried out.

2. The long ruler must be perpendicular to the chopping board;

3. Squeeze the thread incense lightly with a short ruler, and press it from the right side and the upper side.

Six, press in the shade:

Methods: 1. When both ends of the incense are discolored and dried, repeat step 5 to straighten the incense;

2. Rooting the incense sticks, and pressing both sides of the incense sticks with two plates with smooth edges;

3, cover a piece of paper, Yin trunk incense.

Note: 1, the fifth step must be repeated, otherwise the incense will not stick together;

2. Don't press the boards on both sides too tightly. It is best that there is no gap between the line and the incense.

3. Put the incense on the incense with a ruler and gently press it, so that the incense will not become warped.

Seven, cellar preservation:

Methods: 1. Put the sachet in a sealed bag and leave it in the dark for about half a month.

2. Store it in a perfume tube or a perfume box (I use a test tube with a plug, which is well sealed and has no odor).

Note: 1, handle with care;

2. It is best to store it in the shade for more than half a month.

Eight, the use of leftover materials: the fragrant mud that can no longer be squeezed out can be made into fragrant pills by hand and smoked in the air.
