Another reason may be that your wool quilt is of poor quality. Good wool is not easy to fall off after treatment. I'll teach you how to choose a good wool quilt:
The first trick: generally, one side of the wool quilt will have a zipper. After opening it, first, look at the color of wool. Not as white as possible. The wool of an authentic Australian 9-month-old lamb is gray. If it is too white, it means that the quality of wool is not very good, and there are many procedures for decontamination and impurity removal, which may damage the surface protein. Second, it depends on the fiber thickness. According to the certification of the International Wool Bureau, wool with a length of 2~3 inches and a fineness of 28~32 microns is the most suitable wool quilt, and it is not good to be too fine or too thick. Third, look at the package fabric. The outer cloth must not be coated (similar to the light curtain), so it is very likely that the oil rate and impurity removal of the inner wool will not pass, and the outer layer will be used to prevent leakage.
The second measure: sense of smell! Smell the wool quilt. The carbonized, washed and combed wool will not have any peculiar smell, including the smell of mutton. Remember to smell it when choosing.
The third measure: touch! Touch the softness of the cloth. If the quilt is hard or brittle, it may be that the fabric has a sponge or coating. This quilt is uncomfortable, and the formaldehyde may exceed the standard.
The fourth measure: hand pressing, wool has at least 40% natural elasticity, and wool can recover to more than 90% of its original thickness after being pressed, thus maintaining elasticity and softness for a long time and not hardening. Take a few pieces and try to light them. Wool is not easy to spot dye, it releases a lot of heat when burning, produces an open flame, does not melt, and can resist fierce burning.
