Self-pollination refers to the phenomenon that the pollen of a plant pollinates the pistil of the same individual. In hermaphroditic plants, it can be divided into cross pollination between stamens and pistils of the same flower (kidney bean), cross pollination between different flowers in an inflorescence (individual) and cross pollination between different flowers in the same plant. Most angiosperms are cross-pollinated and a few are self-pollinated. Blueberry wine is self-pollinated.
