There are nearly 10,000 temples, including palaces, Buddhist temples, pagodas, prayer halls, monasteries, platforms and courtyards. The Red Palace is in the middle, and the White House is in the east and west wings. The hall is resplendent, the sky is blue, magnificent and charming. Potala Palace is a masterpiece of Tibetan ancient architecture art, a famous palace-style building complex in China, and listed as a world cultural heritage.

The east is called the White House, where the Dalai Lama lives. The central part is called the Red Palace, which is the Buddhist hall and Lingta hall of the Dalai Lama in past dynasties. The white monk's room in the west is for the Dalai Lama's cronies. The highest hall in Potala Palace is called Sason Langjie, which means victory. There is a portrait of Emperor Qianlong in the palace.

To the west of Sason Langjie, there is a temple called Megandan, which is the main hall of the 6th Dalai Lama Cangyang Gyatso.
