The story happened in the 1990s, when Steelhead, a tractor worker, risked his life to sneak into Japan.

, decided to go to Japan with Japanese orphans girlfriend Xiu Xiu. In Japan, he took refuge in his village friend Ajie, lived under the same roof with other illegal immigrants, lived a low life in developed society and did menial work. After Tietou gets his ID card, he plans to leave the crowd with Lili and open a small shop in other areas to do business, so that Ajie and others can continue their previous business. However, his quiet life was broken by the policeman Kitano who once saved his life. Kitano warned Tietou that his fellow villagers had committed many serious crimes, and Ajie became bold and fierce after being disabled. The police have filed a case of "shinjuku incident" to investigate the criminal record of Chinese, and regarded a group of people who had been in contact with Tietou as the largest Chinese criminal organization in Japan.

After finding out the truth, Tietou decided to cooperate with Kitano. He hoped that all his brothers would come back to the shore, but when everyone saw that Tietou had brought Kitano, they all mistakenly thought that he was going to betray all his brothers.
