"Synthetic moissanite (Mosan stone)" generally refers to "Mosan stone". Moss stone is a kind of ore, its dispersion is 0. 104 larger than that of diamond (0.044), and its refractive index is 2.65-2.69 (2.42 of diamond). It has the same diamond luster as diamond, stronger "fire color" and is closer to diamond than any imitation. Mosan stone is mostly synthetic, and natural Mosan stone is very rare, only appearing in craters, and its color is mostly dark green and black.
Substitute for diamonds
There are three kinds of substitutes for diamonds: natural gems similar to diamonds, imitation diamonds and synthetic diamonds. The physical method is high temperature and high pressure synthesis, and the chemical method is chemical vapor deposition. The difference between synthetic diamonds and natural diamonds lies mainly in fluorescence and internal inclusions (most people don't have large instruments, which is a convenient identification method).
