Institute of high energy physics is the research and development of high energy physics, advanced accelerator technology and advanced radiation technology in China. His predecessor was the Institute of Modern Physics of China Academy of Sciences, which was founded in 195. Later, it was renamed the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Atomic Energy. 2. China spallation neutron source project

China spallation neutron source project (CSNS) is a scientific research device to study the microstructure and motion of neutron detection materials. It is a China-scale scientific device initiated by China during the Eleventh Five-Year Plan period, and it is also one of the most advanced high-tech, interdisciplinary basic research and applied research projects in the world. This project is the first major scientific device based on the high-current neutron accelerator in China. After completion, it will fill the gap in the application field of pulsed neutrons in China and provide a large-scale scientific research platform with advanced technology, powerful functions and multidisciplinary applications for China's physics, chemistry, life sciences, nanotechnology, national defense research and new energy development. The project was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in September 28 and settled in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. The completion of CSNS will provide an advanced scientific research platform for basic research and high-tech research in the frontier fields of physics, chemistry, life science, material science, biology, nano-science, medicine, national defense research, industrial application and new energy development.

the CSNS device is planned to be built in dongguan city, Guangdong province, located in the beautiful Songshan lake science and technology park, and the csns is located in Guangdong province, which will make full use of the economic advantages of Guangdong province, form a balanced scientific research layout between the north and the south, improve the level of basic scientific research and industrial research and development in scientific apparatus of southern provinces and southeast Asian countries, and further promote the economic development of the whole south.
