What is the future for dentists?

The employment prospects of dentists are still good, and the future employment directions of the dental medicine profession are also broad.

According to statistics, every 2,000 people need a dentist, so the domestic demand for dentists is also increasing rapidly. Moreover, with the improvement of economic level and quality of life, people will pay more and more attention to oral health.

As an independent category, stomatology is highly regional and highly technical. Therefore, choosing to become a dentist can be said to be a wise choice.

But a big problem now is that after many people finish studying dentistry, they will first go to some big cities and big hospitals. But in fact, although these places have good remuneration and good development, the competition is fierce and it is difficult to enter. Therefore, generally more people choose to work in clinics after employment.

As for the salary of dentists, I can only say that when I first graduated, the salary was not very high, nor was it bad. But with the accumulation of experience and qualifications, the salary will get better and better. , if you want to become a dentist, you must have a qualification certificate. Nowadays, all dentists must hold a certificate to work. There are two conditions for taking the medical certificate examination:

First, you must have an academic degree. After graduating from a junior college, you can take the exam to become an assistant physician after working for one year. Assistant physicians do not have the right to prescribe and can only perform diagnosis and treatment under the supervision of a practicing physician certificate. Then as your experience increases, you can take the exam to become a licensed pharmacist. After passing this certificate, you can conduct medical activities independently. One year after graduation, you can directly take the exam to become a practicing physician.

The academic qualifications mentioned here must be recognized by the country. Full-time studies are acceptable, evening majors, and self-study examinations are also acceptable.

The second is that you need to have clinical experience. Many people will choose to work in the dental department for about a year before taking the exam to become a practicing physician. If you study other medical-related majors, you can switch to work in the dental department first, but it will be a lot more difficult.
