Difference (relationship) between ductile iron pipe fittings (such as tee joint, elbow joint, etc.) and interfaces
General ductile iron pipe fittings are in line with ISO2531 and EN545 standards, and there are generally two types of interfaces:

1. socket, which is used to connect with the socket pipe (one end of which is a socket and the other end is a straight pipe). During construction, a gasket with a corresponding size will be placed in the socket, and then the straight pipe end of the pipe will be inserted.

2. flange end/flanged is connected with a flanged pipe (one end is flanged and the other end is straight, or both ends are flanged). The two flanges are connected by bolts, and a rubber pad is also placed in the middle to play a sealing role.

I don't know if it is the answer you want

The interface is integrated with the pipe fitting, so there is no need to use a separate interface.
