What are the common mechanisms of punch press?
Common structure of punch press:

1. Upper mold

The upper die is the upper part of the whole set of dies, that is, the die part installed on the slide block of the press.

2. Upper die holder

The upper die holder is the uppermost plate-shaped part of the upper die. When the workpiece is pressed on the press slide block, it is fixed with the press slide block through the die handle or directly.

3. Lower die

The lower die is the lower half of the whole set of dies, that is, the die part installed on the workbench of the press.

4. Lower die holder

The lower die holder is a plate-shaped part at the bottom of the lower die, which is directly fixed on the workbench or backing plate of the press when working.

5. Blade wall

The side wall is the side wall of the cutting edge of the punching die hole.

6. Slope of cutting edge

The inclination of the cutting edge is the inclination of each side of the side wall of the punching die hole.

7. Air cushion

Air cushion is an ejector powered by compressed air. See "Ejector".

8. Reverse briquetting

The reverse side pressing block is a component that supports the one-way punch from the other side of the working face.

9. Guide sleeve

The guide sleeve is a tubular part, which provides accurate guidance for the relative movement of the upper and lower die holders. Most of them are fixed in the upper die holder and used in conjunction with the guide posts fixed in the lower die holder.

10. Guide plate

The guide plate is a plate-shaped part, which has an inner hole accurately matched with the punch to ensure the mutual alignment between the punch and the die and discharge the part.

1 1. signpost

The guide post is a cylindrical part, which provides accurate guidance for the relative movement of the upper and lower die holders. Most of them are fixed on the lower die holder, and used in cooperation with the guide sleeve fixed on the upper die holder.

12. Positioning pin

The locating pin is a pin-shaped part that extends into the material hole and is used to adjust its position in the female die.

13. Guide mould

The guide plate die is a die guided by the guide plate, and the punch does not leave the guide plate when using the die.

14. Guide plate

The material guide plate is a plate-shaped guide component that guides the strip (strip, coil) into the female die.

15. Guide post mould base Guide post mould base is a mould base in which guide post and guide sleeve slide each other. (See "Mold base").

16. Die dropping

Stamping die is a process equipment installed on a press to produce stamping parts, which is composed of upper and lower parts.

17. Punching

Punch is a convex working part, which directly acts on forming stamping parts, that is, parts with shape as working surface.

18. Death

The female die is a concave working part, which directly acts on the forming stamping parts, that is, the part with the inner shape as the working surface.

19. Protection plate

The protective plate is a plate-shaped part to prevent fingers or foreign objects from entering the dangerous area of the mold.

20. Blind plate (ring)

Blank holder ring (ring) is a process part used to hold down stamping materials or control the flow of materials in stamping die. In the drawing die, the blank holder is often called the blank holder.

2 1. compression bar

Punching rib is a kind of rib-like protrusion, which is used to control the material flow in drawing die or drawing die. The blanking rib can be a local structure of the die or blank holder, or an independent part embedded in the die or blank holder.

22. Pressing the sill

Ballast beam is a special name for rectangular section ballast rib. See "Blanking bar".

23. Bearing plate

The bearing plate is a plate-like component used to extend the upper plane of the die and support the stamping material.

24. Continuous stamping die

The continuous die is a stamping die with two or more stations, and the materials are fed to one station one by one with the stroke of the press, so that the stamping parts are gradually formed.

25. Side blades

The side edge is a punch for cutting the feeding positioning gap on the side surface of the strip (belt, coil).

26. Side clamp

The side pressure plate is a plate-like component that presses one side of a strip (belt or coil) through a spring to urge the other side to abut against the guide plate.

27. Brake cylinder push rod

The thimble is a rod-shaped part, which directly or indirectly ejects the workpiece (sequence) or waste through upward action.

28.roof

The top plate is a plate-shaped part that moves in the mold or module, and directly or indirectly ejects the workpiece (sequence) or waste through upward action.

29. Gear ring

The gear ring is an annular tooth-shaped protrusion on the fine blanking die or tooth-shaped blank holder, which is a local structure of the die or tooth-shaped blank holder rather than a separate part.

30. Limit sleeve

Limit sleeve is a tubular part used to limit the minimum closing height of stamping die, which is generally sleeved outside the guide post.

3 1. limit sequence

The limit column is a cylindrical part, which is used to limit the minimum closing height of the mold.

32. Positioning pin (plate)

The locating pin (plate) is a part that ensures the position of the workpiece in the die unchanged, and it is called locating pin or locating plate because of its different shapes.

33. Fixed plate

The fixed plate is a plate-like part for fixing the punch.

34. Fixed discharge plate

The fixed discharge plate is the fixed discharge plate on the mold. (See "Unloader").

35. Fix the fixing pin (plate)

The fixed stop pin (plate) is the fixed stop pin (plate) in the mold. (See "Stop Pin (Plate)").

36. Unloader

The unloader is a non-plate part or device that unloads the workpiece (sequence) from the outer surface of the punch.

37. Unloading plate

The stripper is a fixed or movable plate-shaped part that unloads materials or workpieces (sequentially) from the punch. The discharge plate is sometimes made into a whole with the guide plate, which also plays a guiding role and is still called the discharge plate.

38. Discharge screw

Unloading screw is a screw fixed on the elastic unloading plate to limit the static position of the elastic unloading plate.

39. Single-process mold

Single-process stamping die is a stamping die that only completes one process in one stroke of the press.

40. Scrap knives

There are two kinds of waste cutters. 1. The cutter installed on the flange trimming die of deep drawing parts cuts off the whole circle of trimming waste for easy removal. 2. The cutter installed on the press or die is used to cut strip (strip, roll) waste according to a fixed length for easy removal.

4 1. combined die

Combined punching die is a set of universal adjustable punching dies that gradually form various stamping parts according to geometric features (straight line, angle, arc and hole). Generally, the outline of plane stamping parts needs several pairs of combined dies to be punched several times.

42. Start with the fixed pin (plate)

The initial stop pin (plate) is a part used for positioning when feeding the initial end of the material. The initial fixed pins (plates) are all movable.

43. film

Block is a variety of assembled parts, forming a complete female die, male die, discharging plate or fixing plate.

44. Stop (board)

The stopper (plate) is a hardened part, which is used for positioning when feeding the material with the cut through the side edge, and also for balancing the single-sided cutting force on the side edge. Blocks (plates) are usually used with sides.

45. Stop pin (plate)

Material retaining pin (plate) is a positioning component of materials along the feeding direction, which is called material retaining pin or material retaining plate because of its different shapes. Stop pin (plate) is a general term for fixed stop pin (plate), movable stop pin (plate) and initial stop pin (plate).

46. Gasket

The backing plate is a hardened plate-like part between the fixed plate (or female die) and the die holder, which is used to reduce the unit compressive stress borne by the die holder.
