Would can be used as the past tense of the auxiliary verb will, mainly used in the second and third person, and sometimes used in the first person (see will for details). When used to state mood, it can form past future tense, past future perfect tense and past future continuous tense.
When used in subjunctive mood, it is the same as the should in the structure of "would+ infinitive general form [perfect form]" (see should for details, but would is mainly used in the second and third person).
