(1) carbon material:
The chemical properties of this material are very stable and will not be biodegradable. But it is brittle and black, and its application range is limited. (2) Ceramic materials:
Ceramic materials are durable, corrosion-resistant, non-toxic and side effects on human body, and good histocompatibility. They are commonly used dental implant materials at present. Common materials are biologically inert ceramics, bioactive ceramics and biodegradable ceramics.
(3) Polymer materials:
Common polymer materials such as acrylate, PTFE, etc. Although the chemical structure of polymer materials is close to the natural polymer in human body structure, it is still easy to be biodegradable and stimulate.
(4) Metal and alloy materials:
Metal and alloy materials have good strength and hardness, but their biomechanical adaptability and tissue and bone adaptability are not very good. Common materials are gold, Fe-Cr-Ni alloy, cast Co-Cr alloy, titanium and alloys.
