Legal basis: Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) Article 2 People's Republic of China (PRC) has established frontier health and quarantine offices in ports, airports, frontier ports and ports on frontier rivers (hereinafter referred to as frontier ports) that carry out quarantine, monitoring and health supervision of infectious diseases in accordance with the provisions of this Law. Article 4 Entry and exit persons, means of transport, transportation equipment, luggage, goods, postal parcels and other articles that may spread quarantinable infectious diseases shall be quarantined, and they shall not enter or leave the country without the approval of the frontier health and quarantine office. Specific measures shall be stipulated in the detailed rules for the implementation of this law. Article 16 The frontier health and quarantine office has the right to require entry-exit personnel to fill out health declaration cards and produce vaccination certificates, health certificates or other relevant certificates of certain infectious diseases.
