Winter has passed, how should winter boots be collected?
The cleaning and collection of winter boots is also the most complicated of all kinds of winter shoes, which should at least include deodorization, decontamination and dust removal, repair, plastic surgery and so on. These aspects are well done to ensure that the boots are free from odor, deformation and mildew when they are taken out in autumn.

Basic nursing can not be less than one step.

Step 1: Deodorization and dehumidification

The higher the boot, the tighter the ankle, and the sharper the toes, the easier it is to smell. Have a pair of insoles with deodorizing function, and wash and dry them.

You can buy a deodorant spray with sterilization effect at the shoe counter, spray it once or twice in the boots that have been worn for a winter, and then put it on the cool and ventilated balcony to dry.

The humid environment inside the boots is also a "nutrient base" for breeding odor and mildew. Therefore, wrapping one or two pieces of charcoal or one or two spoonfuls of baking soda with breathable paper towels and putting them in boots respectively is very effective in absorbing moisture, deodorizing and preventing gas.

Step 2: decontamination and dust removal

First, the whole pair of boots should be supported into a complete shape with shoe braces, so as to ensure thorough decontamination and dust removal and repair the wrinkles formed after the boots pass through.

Then wipe off the dust on the boots with a soft cloth, or brush off the dust on the boots with a big shoe brush, and then remove the dust residue embedded in the seam between the upper and sole of the boots with a small toothbrush.

Pour the detergent on the cloth and rub it evenly, and quickly spread it on the boot surface in a large area to avoid uneven friction after the solvent in the detergent volatilizes. Remember not to pour directly on the boot surface, otherwise local fading will occur.

Air drying for more than ten minutes, and then coating a thin layer of lard or chicken oil after the solvent on the boot surface volatilizes, so as to keep the boot surface from drying and cracking. Never apply a thick layer of shoe polish on the surface of boots, because the shoe polish contains dry grease. If you apply too much, it will lead to cracking of the leather surface for a long time, which will be self-defeating.

Step 3: Repair

The toe of boots is easy to "kick" off a piece of color, and walking is easy to cause small cracks in the folds of boots. To repair a small area of fading, you can prepare the same shoe polish as the boots. After cleaning, apply it to the faded place and apply it evenly like painting. Finally, apply a layer of protective oil to "repair the old as new".

You can fill the cracks and gaps with paraffin wax, and then iron them with a steam iron for a short time to avoid scalding the leather; After ironing, wipe it with shoe polish of the same color as the boot surface.

If there are small cracks on the black leather boots, you can pour fresh eggs into the inkstone, grind out a deep "egg white ink paste" with an ink stick, dip it in the cracks on the surface of the leather with a brush, dry it, and then wipe a little shoe polish to make it look brand-new.

Plastic operation

Even the "original" shoe box of boots, if the boots are put in casually, the problem of boot tube deformation may occur after a few months. Therefore, it is very important to "shape the shoes" before the boots are put into storage. The best way, of course, is to use a special boot shaping stick and wrap it in soft cotton, which can just be stuffed into the boots to keep them straight and scratched. You can also put empty dry beverage bottles into boots in pairs and then fill them with soft cotton cloth.

If the ankle is wrinkled after wearing the boots for a long time, you can stuff a ball of newspaper to hold up the boots.

Or use hangers to clamp the boots in pairs and hang them for a day, and then use their own weight to restore their scratch shape. Finally, the boots are stuffed with newspapers, and the upper ends of the boots are stuffed with cardboard rolled into a tube. Note: To prevent the clip from damaging the boot, put a napkin in the clip and hang it up.
