If it is a top-suction range hood, it should be installed above the cooker, which can quickly absorb the lampblack and avoid the lampblack from staying indoors. The side range hood should be installed on the side of the cooker, which can lock the oil fume generated by the cooker in time and discharge it to the outside.
2. Select the installation height
Then, pay attention to the installation height. If you buy a top range hood, the installation height should not be too low, so that the rising lampblack can gather together and be discharged to the outside through the oil net, generally 65-80 cm away from the stove. The range hood on the side can be a little closer to the cooker, because it will only absorb the lampblack and not the flame, so it will not damage the range hood.
3, drilling installation hanging plate
After finding the position, mark it with a pen, then punch holes in it and install the fixed hanging plate. When installing the hanging plate, pay attention to the fact that the hanging plate must be firm, so as not to suddenly fall off and let the range hood fall off.
4. Install the range hood
Before installing the range hood, check the quality problems and replace it in time if it is damaged. Then stick the range hood on the hanging board. It is best to ask your family for help when installing, because the range hood is relatively large and it is difficult for one person to install it.
5. Install other parts and components
After the range hood is installed, some accessories, such as smoke exhaust hose and check valve, need to be installed. During installation, the exhaust pipe should extend outward through the reserved hole, and the check valve should be connected and sealed with adhesive tape. If you want to discharge directly outside the wall, it is best to install a smoke pipe on the louver to avoid the backflow of oil smoke.
