How long does paronychia surgery take?
Surgery plus anesthesia only takes a few minutes.

Most of paronychia is caused by ingrowth of nails, and nail cutting (or nail pulling) is usually incurable.

Incarcerated nails are caused by abnormal growth of nails/toenails (mostly caused by long-term extrusion, trauma or improper pruning). Nail spurs will occur on one or both sides of nails/toenails. The nail thorn is not normal to the foreign minister, but grows into the meat on both sides. Over time, nails/toenails will bend inward, leading to long-term tingling and paronychia, and even osteomyelitis and amputation.

To eradicate paronychia, we must first eradicate ingrown toenails, otherwise the diseased toenails will grow repeatedly and paronychia will recur.

At present, the common treatment method for ingrown toenails in China is nail removal, that is, partial or total removal of diseased toenails, but this method has low cure rate and high recurrence rate, and there is a risk of infection with gray toenails.

I have my own toenails. I went to the hospital to have my toenails pulled out. Unfortunately, I also had a relapse.

I think it is not everyone's wish to get rid of nails repeatedly, and it is also very troublesome to rely on pedicure for a long time, and pedicure is a temporary solution rather than a permanent cure.

Later, I learned a therapy from Japan, which was very effective. I was cured once, and it has been seven years, and there is no recurrence. Now share it with friends who are deeply troubled by ingrown toenails. I hope you can get rid of this trouble as soon as possible.

This therapy is physical therapy, which is effective for both fingernails and toenails. Correct application can eradicate and prevent recurrence.

The principle is to achieve the purpose of cure by correcting the growth trajectory of diseased nails.

The content of this therapy is as follows:

[1] To trim the diseased nail, it is necessary to cut off the nail thorn and the bent part bit by bit.

This process can be carried out several times in order to remove the diseased nail embedded in the meat and prevent the paronychia from getting worse. Of course, this process may be accompanied by pain, but it must be thorough. My own situation is illness.

A nail gives birth to a nail thorn. I first soak the diseased nail in hot water, and then pry the diseased nail side out of the nail nest with tweezers or something. This moment is very uncomfortable. After the edge of the diseased nail is completely exposed, the nail spur is clearly visible and must be repaired.

Cut it clean and don't pull it out, because pulling it out badly will destroy the nail bed and aggravate the condition.

[2] After completing 1, gently pad the diseased nail with cotton to ensure that the newly grown part will not stab into the meat again.

If the diseased nail has been bent inward, you need to pad more cotton to adjust the growth direction of the nail/toenail (this is the correction process, pad it at any angle you want it to grow). Cotton should use as little water as possible, if it is due to

I was soaked in the shower, which affected the effect. I suggest replacing it with new cotton.

The amount of cotton pad is enough, because it hurts to put cotton between nails/toenails and meat.

[3] Places with paronychia are often disinfected with alcohol or iodine, and antibacterial drugs can be taken orally when necessary.

[4] Pay attention to diet nutrition, not partial eclipse, not picky eaters, and supplement vitamins. Can't do strenuous exercise.

[5] When nails/toenails regrow, they are found to be no longer bent or feel no pain, which is the existing curative effect. It is recommended to consolidate for a period of time, and nail pruning can be carried out normally. After a few weeks, I think I can completely remove the cotton pad. (In this process, paronychia will heal itself. )

1-5 is a course of treatment (i.e., from the pruning of diseased nails until nails/toenails regrow, fingernails 1-2 weeks, toenails for half a month-1 month). It depends on the length of the illness: mild illness may be effectively cured in one course of treatment, and long illness needs repeated courses of treatment.

If the condition is really serious, it is recommended to go to the hospital to treat inflammation first and start the corrective treatment of ingrown toenails in due course.

If you have any questions, you can ask me. I hope you get well soon!
