Generally speaking, the rumble of abnormal sound air conditioners mentioned by the subject is mostly hidden air conditioners, that is, air duct machines or multi-line internal machines. When I hang on the wall, I seldom encounter abnormal sounds such as "rumbling", which are usually caused by the deformation of the shell. No matter what type of air conditioner has abnormal noise, it must be an internal problem.
The internal structure of concealed air conditioner is generally composed of shell, heat exchanger, fan and stamped shell. In addition, there is a soft connection part for installation. Among them, the soft connection part is divided into aluminum foil, tin foil and woven fabric, which mainly connects the air outlet of the air conditioner with the ceiling (louver outlet) to prevent the wind from running into the ceiling.
Chassis: Generally, cold-rolled steel plates are used, so it is easy to have uneven installation at four corners, but there will be no rumbling. Some are fixed by hanging bars, without reinforcement and stretching in the middle. When the machine is running, it will make a squeaking sound.
Evaporator, when heating in winter, sometimes makes noise, but it is a "squeak" sound, which is the sound of surface thermal expansion caused by uneven heating of refrigerant and evaporator.
Fans, that is, motors, have two kinds of fans, fixed speed and variable speed, both of which need lubricating oil to maintain. After a long time, if they lack maintenance, they will also make noise, but they are just the shrill sound of "Gollum".
Wind wheel and wind wheel shell: its main function in indoor machine is to generate airflow and let indoor air enter indoor machine for heat exchange. Therefore, it will also make noise, which is prone to damage or cracking of the wind wheel shell. When the wind wheel tells it to turn, it will produce a "rumbling" situation similar to that mentioned in the title.
Soft connection: In the soft connection between aluminum foil tin foil and woven cloth, aluminum foil tin foil is widely used in air conditioning in the field of home improvement, mainly because the cost of aluminum foil tin foil is cheaper than woven cloth, so business owners are unwilling to use it and the installation is simpler. Aluminum foil and tin foil can be bonded (with adhesive), so the installer is very willing to use it.
The installation of woven cloth is much more troublesome, and it needs to be specially shaped and fixed, so many workers are reluctant to use it (only in engineering installation, because it will be used for fire control audit).
Our air conditioner uses aluminum foil and tin foil to connect the air outlet of the air conditioner with the ceiling. Usually, the aluminum foil and tin foil here are directly attached to the wooden frame at the end of our ceiling. When our air conditioner is heated, the rubber surface of aluminum foil and tin foil is easy to fall off or not firmly bonded. When the air conditioner is turned on in summer, the soft connector will fall off and block the air outlet. When blowing air, aluminum foil and tin foil will have a "rumbling" sound.
Tuyere trembling sound: the abnormal sound of tuyere will not rumble, but generally changes with the wind. If not, it can be eliminated directly. In addition, if you make an air duct at home, that is, change the air outlet and return air mode of the machine, you should pay attention to check the integrity of the air duct, and the air duct will also have a "rumbling" sound, but there are usually many side air outlets in home decoration, so pay more attention.
After we understand the places where air conditioners at home are prone to sound and the characteristics of sound, we can make targeted observations. From the last article, we can narrow down the fault point to the air duct, air duct shell and soft joint. If there is an air duct, pay attention to check here.
Soft connection, we just need to stand in front of the tuyere or stand on the ladder to observe it at close range. The probability of cracks in the ram shell is very small, but we should check them one by one with a dialectical attitude.
abstract
If you are a user, which is exactly what I call a hidden air conditioner, you should know where the problem is. If the soft joint falls off, it can generally be handled by itself, or it can be fixed with screws again. If not, I suggest you contact professional maintenance personnel to come to your home. At least you know where they should look, at least they shouldn't check the external machine and say that fluoride is needed.
In my work experience, there is no fixed answer to any mistake, so I hope my experience can bring some thinking directions to the subject. If there is anything wrong, please leave a message to correct me!
