China drank roses as tea, which was recorded in the Ming Dynasty, indicating that China had the habit of drinking roses in the Ming Dynasty or even earlier.
Chinese medicine believes that roses are sweet and bitter and warm in nature. The most obvious effects are regulating qi and relieving depression, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, regulating menstruation and relieving pain, as well as calming, tranquilizing and antidepressant effects, promoting blood circulation, beautifying, eliminating fatigue, healing wounds and protecting the liver and gastrointestinal tract.
Chinese medicine also believes that people with constipation, heavy menstrual flow, cold stomach, diarrhea and frequent fatigue should not drink it.
