Can you dig roots for bonsai?
Rooting can be used as a bonsai, and the root bonsai can be made as follows:

1. Basic forms of stump bonsai:

Straight stem: The trunk is straight, like a giant tree in Shan Ye, standing upright.

Inclined trunk type: the trunk leans to one side, just like a tree near water.

Curved and dry type: the trunk is curved and has a strange shape.

Lying dry: The trunk is lying on the basin surface, like a tree blown down by the wind in lightning, which is quite interesting.

Cliff type: the trunk hangs upside down and hangs out of the mouth of the basin.

Attached stones: Roots grow on stones, which can be attached to rocks or between stones.

Dry type: the main body is dry and rotten, but the branches and leaves are lush, such as dead trees in spring.

Rooted type: the thick roots of many dead trees are deeply exposed and connected, shaped like dragon claws.

Double-stem type: a pot is planted with one double-stem type or two copies of the same variety.

Do more work: the longer a book grows, the more dry it is, the uneven it is, and the back and forth are scattered.

Jungle style: many trees and tree species are in the same pot, staggered into shade, and the trees are lush.

2. Treatment method of stump bonsai: When making bonsai at home, metal wires are mostly wrapped around branches and bent.

The combined shaping and pruning method is simple and easy to implement, and the molding is fast.

(1) Dry processing: bend the thick trunk, and before bending, line several hemp tendons on the outside of the bend.

Then wrap the trunk with hemp skin to enhance the toughness of the trunk and prevent it from breaking. The trunk is too thick to bend,

It can be carved with chisels and carving knives to make it older, and the wounds of big branches that have been cut off should also be carved.

Processing, showing the form of natural decay. If the trunk is too thin, you can stick a dead pile in front to make it look real.

If done skillfully, the branches and leaves of small trees seem to grow from the dead pile, which is seamless and difficult to distinguish between true and false.

(2) Shaping of branches: The bending of branches can be realized by winding lead wires with different thicknesses on the branches.

First, fix one end of the lead with proper thickness. When winding, it must be close to the bark and the precession angle of the lead.

45 is suitable, neither too big nor too small is good. For some thin-skinned tree species such as pomegranate and maple, lead wire should be wound.

Wrap hemp skin on the bark or roll paper outside the lead wire before you go.

③ Root treatment: Some roots of the stump bonsai must be exposed, curled like snakes or stretched.

Eagle claw. As a stump bonsai, roots can be coiled up from an early age, planted in deep pots first, and then slowly rooted.

Lift it up and make it bare, so it looks intertwined.

3. Potting: The cultivated soil must have sufficient fertility, fast drainage and good air permeability. Bonsai pots are also very useful.

Note that there are commonly used purple sand pottery pots, glazed pottery pots, chiseled stone pots, porcelain pots, clay pots and so on. Choose first, then plant.

Pots commensurate with trees make the artistic image more perfect. Planting time can be spring or autumn, with early spring as the best.

It is best to put barbed wire or broken pots on the drainage holes of the pots to facilitate drainage and prevent root rot. These trees are in the basin.

After the location is determined, first thicken the granular soil at the bottom of the basin, and then put the trees, so that the roots can extend into the basin.

Open it, then put the fine soil, while putting the soil, tamping the soil with bamboo sticks to make the roots closely connected with the soil.

Watering must be sufficient at a time, and the bonsai that has just been put into the pot should be moved to the shade, and the leaves should be sprayed with water frequently to make them grow new.

Root before normal management.
